The global water crisis impacts 1 out of every 9 people on the planet. 844 million people lack access to clean water. 2.3 billion people do not even have basic sanitation services.  More than 5 trillion plastic pieces are afloat at sea. The litter that is being delivered into the oceans is toxic to marine life and humans. A study found that 93% of tap water samples taken around the world contains plastic pollutants.

Concerned about environmental pollution and the worldwide water shortage, my brother and I are looking for innovative solutions to solve water problems. We have been working on water-related scientific research from our garage lab since middle school. Our projects generated great interest among the local community, industrial experts, and university professors. Many of our friends are inspired to start their own research projects.

Our mission is to generate awareness of the global water crisis through events and education programs and encourage children to utilize their creativity to solve the problem through innovation. We are inviting more students to share their ideas and research projects on this website.

A program of WE IMPACT Corp, a 501(c)(3) non profit company

A community outreach program founded by the Tianshi siblings, who are concerned about the global water shortage and water pollution. They have been conducting research related to water from their home lab since middle school. Both of them were named top 30 national finalists in the Broadcom MASTERS, the US's premiere STEM middle school competition. Through events and educational programs, they encourage more children to think about the water crisis, publish creative ideas on this website, and utilize their creativity to solve water and environmental problems.
