The global water crisis impacts 1 out of every 9 people on the planet. 844 million people lack access to clean water. 2.3 billion people do not even have basic sanitation services.  More than 5 trillion plastic pieces are afloat at sea. The litter that is being delivered into oceans is toxic to both marine life and humans.

Our mission is to generate awareness about the global water shortage and water pollution through events and education programs in order to encourage students to utilize their creativity and solve the problem through innovation.

We have been working on water-related scientific research from our garage lab since middle school. Our projects generate great interest among the local community and industrial experts. We are inviting more students to conduct research and share their inventions through our website and social media. Together, with community outreach programs and educational events, we hope to inspire more students to contribute to a better environment.

Clearwater Innovation

A program of WE IMPACT Corp, a 501(c)(3) non-profit company

A student-run enviromental advocacy program founded by Emily Tianshi and Kyle Tianshi. Concerned about the global water crisis and water pollution, they have been conducting scientific research related to moisture harvesting and microplastic contamination from their home lab. Through events and educational programs, they encourage students to share water project ideas, advocate for change via blogs on this website, and utilize their creativity to solve environmental problems.
