This past weekend, Clearwater Innovation attended the 2025 Barrio Logan Science and Art Expo, an annual science and art fair. At the Clearwater booth, visitors were invited to participate in a pH science experiment to explore how acidification from climate change affects marine environments. Younger kids were encouraged to participate in face painting. Clearwater representatives had the opportunity to network with individuals from various backgrounds; parents, scientists, and educational specialists all attended Clearwater's booth to learn more about the environmental effects of global warming on water, asking insightful questions and providing constructive feedback.

This event marks the fourth consecutive year that Clearwater has attended, demonstrating its commitment to scientific outreach. As an organization, Clearwater is grateful to the Barrio Logan Association and UC San Diego for the opportunity to host a booth. We look forward to presenting again next year!
